International research identifies five simple things you can do as part of your everyday life, to boost your mental health and sense of wellbeing.

We’ve been talking with Māori men about what these Five Ways to Wellbeing – Ētahi ara e rima ki te ngākau ora – mean to them. And we’ve used the five ways to provide practical suggestions about what you can do to build each dimension of health in Te Whare Tapa Wha.

The Five Ways to Wellbeing are:

Me kori tonu – Be active
Tukua – Give
Me ako tonu – Keep learning
