Tama tu, tama ora; tama moe, tama mate kai.
Our men are at the heart of our communities. We want our tāne to live long and healthy lives – for themselves and for their whānau.
Our aim is to talk about what health means for Māori men, and provide practical suggestions about what we can do to stay healthy and well.
One useful way for Māori to think about health is as a whare.
So welcome, come inside and take a look around.
Nō reira haere mai, haere mai, haere mai.
Tama tu, tama ora; tama noho, tama mate kai. (He who stands lives; he who sits, perishes.)
